I replaced pro tools with this software, because I was looking for something easier to use and have been surprised by how much this software will do. It is definitely worth the money and extremely easy to pick up on. The instructions are excellent as well. I definitely recommend this.

I’ve worked with both video and music editing software, and this program is by far the most confusing and unintuitive I’ve ever used. It does not come with paper directions (just a pdf file) so finding help is difficult. I’m sure its great software for those that have a year or two to figure it out, but I will keep looking for better designed software.

I’ve had other recording software,but Magix gives the best bang for the buck by far. I highly recommend it to musicians.

I bought this product because I wanted to be able to record live music in my “music room”. I was looking for a cheap program that would allow me to do multi-track recording at a cheap price. This product does just that.
I had to couple it to a $40 MXL impedence changer. This takes a standard microphone, and allows you to interface with your computer via USB.
The program doesn’t come with a hardcopy of instruction, but does a decent job of educating you internally. If you’re not real computer or recording savey, you may find it a little cumbersome. However… you’re probably going to have to be a little savey to record your stuff on any program.
I’m very pleased with what this program offers for the money.
